Israeli experience - study and leisure program

 

This new Program is a study and leisure program intended for adults from all over the world from 20 to 65 years old, wishing to learn Hebrew and become acquainted with the Israel’s and kibbutz culture and way of life. This program, lasting 4 to 8 weeks, is focused on the unique experience of living in a Kibbutz located in the heart of the Negev Desert

 

Studies are full-time and involve 30 hours of studying a week, usually between Sunday and Friday, from 8am to 1:30pm, permitting long free week-ends (from Thursday night or Friday morning). Other week-ends are free from Friday noon

 

Trips four trips of one day in various areas around Israel. + four half day trips in the surroundings of the Kibbutz. Extra trips can also be included for an additional fee. Artistic workshops, and meetings or conferences complete this rich culture program

 

Volunteering – If you are between the ages of 18 and 35 years you are welcomed to stay as a volunteer, after finishing the studying course, in another Kibbutz for a maximum time of six months (including the time of the course).  During this period you will be required to purchase our health insurance

Cost of the program - 4 weeks = 1,150 EU.
8 weeks = 2,150 EU.
 

As from January 2012 the cost of the program will be – 4 weeks = 1,250 EU

  8 weeks = 2,250 EU


The cost of the program Includes full board accommodation, studies, trips, lectures, meeting, and free internet etc… According to internal kibbutz rules, free access to swimming pool, kibbutz activities, sport areas, library, kibbutz-club, and pub.

Not included in price – flight, personal insurance, travel to and from the kibbutz, visa expenses, registration fee and personal expenses

Important remark – Examination will determine applicant's level of knowledge in Hebrew

We always start studies at A level (beginners)
