The New Israeli Experience is a study and leisure program, intended for young people from all over the world, wishing to learn Hebrew, become acquainted with the Israel’s culture, religions, history and society. It is especially focused on the unique experience of living in a Kibbutz.
Studies will be full-time- 28 hours for a week, with no work hours in the kibbutz. An Examination will be required, in order to determine the applicant's
Level of knowledge in Hebrew. We will start at level A.
The cost of participation in the Workshop is adapted to the study content, which will extra-curricular tours and lectures, relating to the history and geography of Israel.
Please note that the course starting in July 2005 is an A Level (Beginners) course. It is suitable for students with no previous knowledge of Hebrew. We do not guarantee to provide any additional instruction or coursework for students who already have some knowledge of Hebrew.
Participants will also have at their disposal room and board,
Kitchenette with foodstuffs, canteen meals, Internet, sports areas
(Soccer field, basket ball court, tennis court, swimming pool, fully
Equipped workout room), library with books in Hebrew and English, and
A disco-pub. Each student will be introduced to a Kibbutz family, with whom they may choose to stay in close contact. This is done to provide students with a feeling of home, and giving them a better understanding and appreciation of
The next courses will start in October 2005 and January 2006 in kibbutz Geva.
The cost of 1000$us covers the two months long Ulpan program.

All participants are required to have a comprehensive health insurance. If you do not already have a health insurance policy, you will be able to purchase it from us for the price of 80$us.
