| Family exchange |
| This project has caused wide interest amongst Jewish communities |
| in North America, we hope to enlarge this project to European |
| countries. We have developed a model of the project that |
| integrates activities in Israel, activities at the same time in |
| North America finishing the years activities with an exchange |
| program of families. |
| The Bar Mitzvah boy/girl with their parents will visit Israel and |
| families here in Israel will visit with those coming from abroad. |
| During a month the families will be hosted by similar families who |
| are celebrating with their son or daughter Bar Mitzvah and who |
| live on a kibbutz. The families will participate with the Kibbutz |
| families in all activities concerning the Bar Mitzvah, tour and |
| visit Jerusalem, including the Wailing Wall, and will be part of |
| the final party that is held for all the families of the Bar |
| Mitzvah children on the kibbutz. |
| This project enables families from abroad with challenged children |
| to celebrate Bar Mitzvah in a special framework, to enjoy the |
| festivities and to become acquainted with similar families here in |
| Israel. |
| Air flights and maintenance will be paid by the family. Hosting |
| will be paid by the family on the kibbutz in coordination with |
| Ahada organization. |
