The project is ideal for partnership with Hi-tec companies.
Project's name: Data base in the internet for all organizations dealing
with challenged children and people.

United Kibbutz Movement.

About Ahada:
Ahada is a self-help parents organization with 600 members living on
kibbutzim, moshavim and in towns. The organization is active in many
spheres amongst which are supplying information, advocacy,
information on rights and legal issues, provides agreements for parents
to secure their children's future, has an ongoing school for parents, etc..
Ahada has active on-going educational projects, varied projects for
housing, sport, Bar-Mitzvah etc...
The organization is active in pushing the Law for Equality for
Challenged People in the Knesset and works closely with Bezcut
organization.
Ahada is a member of the coalition of all the organizations existing in
Israel.
Ahada received an Honor award for its projects.

The Projects Aims:
Establishing an efficient cost free data base in the internet, on line and
friendly, for use of all who need information regarding challenged
people.
The information will be used by parents, social workers and other
relevant parties who work with challenged people.
The site will contain information on rights and laws, social security,
addresses of government offices and other pertinent information for
those who deal with problems concerning challenged people.
Important: At this stage an internet site of this type does not exist.

The projects' program:
1. Gathering and centralizing all the information that is in thousands of
internet sites into one site.
2. Constructing a new site with all the gathered information. The site
will be built with intersections according to age, type of disability,
geographical areas, etc.
3. Establishing links to other relevant internet sites.
4. Opening the site, changing mistakes, up dating etc.
5. The site will be active from 6/2002 and will be run by volunteers
from Ahada organization and the Hi-tec company.

Cooperation:
1. Financing post of director of the project representing Ahada, half
time position during the first two years.
2. Financing running the site, a permanent post (after the site is opened).
3. The Hi-tec company will construct the site.
4. Managing the site by a team composed of representatives from the
Hi-tec company, Ahada, government officials, Joint and volunteers.
5. The Hi-tec company will arrange one day seminars for potential
users.
6. The Hi-tec company will advertise the site in the media.

Yearly budget:
1. Establishing the site (one year), Project director $ 30,000.
2. Seminars and advertisement $ 10,000.
3. Maintenance and running the site - (for a year) $ 15,000.
